Tintin is an adventurer who travels around the world in The Adventures of Tintin, a series of comic books drawn and written by the Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, better known as Hergé. The series is one of the most popular comic book series in Europe and the world, especially in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Denmark and India.

Asterix and obelix (english)

Asterix (French: Astérix) is a fictional character, the titular hero of the French comic book series The Adventures of Asterix. The series portrays him as a diminutive but fearless Gaulish warrior living in the time of Julius Caesar's Gallic Wars. Asterix was created in 1959 by writer René Goscinny and illustrator Albert Uderzo. Since then, thirty-three books in the series have been released, with Uderzo taking over writing duties after the death of Goscinny in 1977. Asterix has also appeared in several animated and live-action film adaptations of the series, and serves as the mascot of the amusement park Parc Astérix.

BATUL THE GREAT (BANGLA)

 Batul, Bantul, or Batul the Great (Bengali: বাঁটুল দি গ্রেট), is a popular Bengali comic strip character created by Narayan Debnath. It first appeared and still appears in a children's magazine called Shuktara and is widely read, not only by children but by adults as well. It has since appeared in comic book format and as an animation series.

HADA BHONDA (BANGLA)

Handa Bhonda (bn হাঁদা-ভোঁদা), also referred to as Hada Bhoda is a Bangla comic-strip (and later comic book) creation of Narayan Debnath which originally was serialized for the children's monthly magazine Shuktara. The comics have appeared in book form. A popular animation series based on the characters has also been filmed.
The suggestion to work in comics in Bengali came from the editors at Deb Sahitya Kuthir publishing house. Also the name Handa-Bhonda was their suggestion. Debnath had been familiar with foreign made comics but comics in Bengali had, to his admission, yet to take off. Handa-Bhonda became an instant success and continues to be printed in Shuktara every month as of September 2006. Handa-Bhonda was initially penciled and inked by Debnath and had no colored frames. Later it would be printed in gray-scale.

NONTE FONTE (BANGLA)

Nonte Phonte (Bengali: নন্টে-ফন্টে), also spelled as Nonte Fonte, is a Bangla comic-strip (and later comic book) creation of Narayan Debnath which originally was serialized for the children's monthly magazine Kishore Bharati (Bengali: কিশোর ভারতী). The stories featuring in the comic strips focusses on the trivial lives of the title characters, Nonte and Phonte, along with a school-senior, Keltuda, and their Hostel Superintendent. The comics have appeared in book form and have been recreated since 2003 in colour. A popular animation series based on the characters has also been filmed.

PHANTOM (BETAL) [BANGLA]

The Phantom is an American adventure comic strip created by Lee Falk, also creator of Mandrake the Magician. A popular feature adapted into many media, including television, film and video games, it stars a costumed crimefighter operating from the fictional African country Bengalla.^[1]
The Phantom is the 21^st in a line of crimefighters that originated in 1536, when the father of British sailor Christopher Walker was killed during a pirate attack. Swearing an oath to fight evil on the skull of his father's murderer, Christopher started the legacy of the Phantom that would be passed from father to son, leaving people to give the mysterious figure nicknames such as "The Ghost Who Walks", The Man Who Cannot Die and Guardian of the Eastern Dark, believing him to be immortal.^[2]
